Is the Wii worth picking up? well all depends what your looking for.The new WII is a great system for those who want something new. The Wii remote and its motion-sensing, pseudo-virtual-reality controls are the biggest draws of the console, and its online capabilities, Wii Channels, Virtual Console, and Game cube.It wont disapoint.

We have been studying the game console market for some time now. It may be hard to pick the right game system with so many to chose from.
Our review of video game consoles has led us to Nintendo WII as first pick. With its revolutionary controller design it offers unique motion-sensitive game play options; built-in Wi-Fi delivers free online services and (eventually) game play; compatible with all GameCube games and controllers; Virtual Console has major nostalgia appeal; built-in SD slot for storage and photo viewing; includes Wii Sports game; most affordable of all next-generation systems.You can find wii here
This system as got to be the best value system on the market today. It offers News, Weather, Internet, Photo editing (more of a Paint like program though), Miis (custom characters based on real people that you can use in some games), polling and even old school games back from the days of the NES. The best part is the controller, it offers a revolutionary way to play games it is motion sensor so you are actually in the game! The system is really small, making it easy to add it to your entertainment center without dominating it. With a very small price tag this is the best value system yet. Even though it has lots to offer, it isn't perfect. The graphics are still very much like its predecessor. Even though I have found that the graphics are a key to a fun game but they aren't everything. In my opinion, the 360 and the PS3's graphics are pretty much the same thing as the Wii's but they are just a little prettied up.
